About Cheap Trick
Cheap Trick formed in Rockford, Illinois, and became one of America’s most enduring rock bands, blending hard rock, pop melody, inventive songwriting, and a mischievous sense of humor. Their breakthrough came with the 1979 live album “At Budokan,” featuring the Top 10 live version of “I Want You to Want Me.”
The band followed that success with “Dream Police,” which reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200, and later returned to the top of the charts in the late 1980s with the power ballad “The Flame.”
Cheap Trick was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 and has played more than 6,000 live shows while selling more than 20 million albums worldwide.
